V0.056 Card Legions


Update 53 I focused on testing the current state of the game and fix bugs:

  • Fixed a bug that was enabling the player to start a fight with less than 5 cards in its deck
  • Created the AddNewSoldier animation when there are fewer than 5 soldiers in the total player library
  • Fixed a bug that allowed the player to close the deck management scene before completing the addition of the new card into the deck
  • Fixed a bug that allowed the player to create deck cards with size 0
  • Fixed a bug that was spawning new cards with 0 power and 0 size

Update 54

  • Added the Zone Selection feature to allow the player to select between different zones
  • Created the assets for the new zones


Update 55 Intensive Rebalancing of the gameplay.

  • Divided all enemies in 3 main biomes.
  • Now, the enemies are created randomly based on the selected biome and zone level.
  • Revamped the whole enemies database. Dumped out all the extra custom enemies (for now)
  • The mastery of the enemies are now directly related to the zone level
  • Lowered the enemy options to pick from on the Expedition Scene (from 5 to 3)
  • Refactored all the related code and logic for handling the new mechanics of the enemy generation and enemy cards generation.


Update 56 First alpha demo release! The basics have been laid out and the player can now play up to zone 14 of world one. Most of the mechanics are ready.

  • The background and text now matches the selected biome in the expedition view
  • Added the Special damage type and refactored the logic of the game to handle this new damage type. It is a special damage type that is not affected by other damage types when calculating power during battles
  • Added the Merge functionality on the Deck Management scene. The player can now drag a card into another and merge them into a single unit
  • Fixed many bugs related to the progress of the zones and asset loading (sprites)
